CFE, BPC Group, BPI Real Estate and Wood Shapers are centralising their offices in the 'Woodhub' building. All teams are now moving up in their brand-new headquarter located in Auderghem in Brussels periphery, a few hundred meters from the ‘Boulevard du Souverain’.

‘Woodhub’, designed by ARCHi2000 architectural firm, is exemplary of a contemporary sustainable building facing the challenges of decarbonation and energy efficiency. For its construction,CREE prefab technology has been used with PEFC certified wood which reduces CO2 emissions by 30% compared to traditional construction.

The building is almost energy-autonomous with only 8,59 kWh/m²/year (vs industry average of 180 kWh/m²/year). This is made possible thanks to the use of geothermal energy, heat pumps and 300 solar panels. Using renewable energy, the heating and cooling system is fossil fuel free. From inside the building, the workspaces benefit from natural light thanks to the central and open atrium. The building has been certified with the environment label ‘BREEAM Outstanding’ and ‘WELL Building standard Platinum’.

'Woodhub’ is part of a mix-used development project of BPI Real Estate, with 6,700 m2 of offices and 14,000 m2 housings (the Serenity Valley residential development). The site is easily accessible by public transport. The Demey metro station at the doorstep allows a quick and direct connection with Brussels city centre. It is also close to the Brussels ring road and so accessible by car. The existing car park under the residential buildings will be retained and used also in part by the office workers of Woodhub.
