The organisers of Realty – Easyfairs – have announced some of the details for this year’s show, which will be held on September 19 and 20, once again in the Gare Maritime of the Tour & Taxis site in Brussels.

The new central theme of this year’s Realty will be Milestones – How will we live in 2050? 2050 is tomorrow. Needless to point out the urgency of achieving the European targets to become carbon neutral. How can the real estate sector face this challenge and create ecological and friendly cities?

The show will be made up of this central theme, 20 conferences, 100 speakers, 2 Realty Night Cocktails, and, the organizers point out, many networking possibilities with 2.000 key players from the real estate sector. The conferences will cover a number of topics around the central theme: Cities: Vision for 2050, Affordable Housing, The Office of the Future, Tech Giants versus Real Estate Developers, How to deal with the Renovation of Iconic Buildings, State-of-the-Art Construction Techniques.

To address these topics Easyfairs has announced a number of high profile speakers – academics, architects, project developers, experts, public authorities and investor. The speakers will include Kevin Cardona (BNP Paribas Real Estate), Giulia Frittoli (Bjarke Ingels Group), Stefaan Martel (Bopro), Ans Persoons (City of Brussels), Gregory Pitl (Patrizia), Bas Smets (Landscape architect), Stéphan Sonneville (UPSI/BVS and Atenor), Frank Vastmans (KU Leuven) and many more.
