DEVELOPER(S)

ARCHITECT(S)
Post X is an urban renewal project with a balanced mix of mainly office and school buildings, complemented by retail and leisure. The Masterplan, which was developed in close cooperation with the city of Antwerp, includes the development of 130,000 m² of above ground space over 9 buildings and will offer around 4000 workstations.

Its unique location is an important factor for companies that wish to have a future-looking mobility strategy. The proximity of public transport services including Antwerpen-Berchem railway station plays an important role in this strategy. Post X is also located next to the Antwerp ring road. This means that the entire motorway network, in particular to Brussels just 50 km or so away, is within a couple of minutes’ drive and the site can be easily reached by car. Businesses on the site also have high strong visibility because almost 300,000 cars pass along this strategic thoroughfare each day.
The architecture is by Stéphane Beel and Johnny Eyers.
All of the office buildings are passive and the concrete central active core ensures that in summer the buildings remain cool, warm in the winter, without any additional energy costs.
The car park offers 1,000 spaces and the same number of bicycles can be accommodated. Charging facilities for E-cars and E-bicycles are also provided.

This part of Antwerp, just to the south of the city centre, has seen extensive development over the past decade or so, development which has not yet finished.

KPMG, Crelan, Syntra, Regus and Onlyhumans are some of the first companies to take up space in this project.
The Antwerp police will also move into Post X. A master building for 2,200 police personnel will be finished towards the end of 2019 – beginning 2020.

During the first half of 2018 a four star hotel with 135 rooms will be opened by Park Inn.
