Four Belgian Mipim Awards finalists again
The finalists in the prestigious Mipim Awards, have been revealed by organisers Reed Midem. The quality is rising every year and the level of sustainable development and sustainable design is also rising, but with this year’s submission, there also is a real social aspect to the responsibility of how projects impact their communities. Once again, Belgium is particularly well represented, with no less than four projects selected.

To further demonstrate the recognition which Belgian real state commands, AG Real Estate head Serge Fautré is one of the panel of distinguished jury members. There are a total of eleven categories in the Mipim Awards, and delegates to the salon will be able to vote when they arrive.

AGENDA
Mipim focuses on innovation

Five years after introducing tech innovation as a component of Mipim, the world’s property market is moving its Innovation Forum to the centre of its exhibition zone. Real estate professionals want to discover the latest technology that can help them in their business and international investors are looking to develop and grow their investment portfolios in PropTech. Among the companies represented in the expanded Innovation Forum zone are energy solution providers, crowd-funding specialists and exhibitors focussing on intelligent buildings. Together, these companies are part of the growing ‘PropTech’ community. The MIPIM Innovation Forum will host 60 exhibitors and a dedicated conference programme in an area of 1,500 m².
