AXA IM makes key appointment



AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets,a global player in real asset investments and a real estate portfolio and asset manager in Europe, has announced the appointment of Bernard d’Ocquier as Local Head of Transactions in Belgium and Luxembourg, effective immediately.

Bernard d’Ocquier has been with AXA IM - Real Assets since 2015 when he joined as Deputy Head of Transactions, Belgium and Luxembourg. His experience to date means he assumes his new role with an in-depth knowledge of AXA IM – Real Assets’ operations and strategy across the Belgian and Luxembourg markets, facilitating a smooth transition. Reporting to John O’Driscoll, European Head of Transactions, Bernard’s responsibilities will include overseeing the sourcing and execution of all local transactions on behalf of AXA IM – Real Assets’ clients.

Prior to joining AXA IM – Real Assets, Bernard d’Ocquier spent five years as an Associate Director at CBRE Capital Markets, where he focused on real estate transactions across Belgium and Luxembourg. Bernard began his career at KPMG, where he worked as a Consultant on its CFO Advisory team between 2007 and 2010, following his graduation from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management with a Masters in Business Engineering.
